EZ Cap™ tdTomato mRNA (m1Ψ) encodes tdTomato, a highly photostable and bright red fluorescent protein derived from Discosoma sp. (DsRed). With peak excitation at ~554 nm and emission at ~581 nm, tdTomato is widely used in live-cell imaging, fluorescence microscopy, and multi-color fluorescence applications due to its exceptional brightness, rapid maturation, and low cytotoxicity.
