MTP pump sets offer the user a wide variety of infusion capabilities. The MTP, when used with the No. 1100 Extension Pump Set, will enable the user to infuse by pump an existing gravity IV administration. Pump Set No. 1200 will enable the clinician to infuse secondary solutions (piggy backing) with one MTP pump. The No. 1201 pump Set is the most cost effective and complete pump set for singular infusions, such as those routinely done in preparation for transport, chemotherapy and its subsequent hydration therapy, and various home infusion therapies. The No. 1250 Pump Set has an integral .22 micron final filter for those reconstituted solutions which must be filtered.

The No.'s 1160 and 1260 Nitroglycerine Pump Sets allow the clinician to infuse Nitroglycerine. Since these pump sets are essentially non-phthalate type sets, they may be used to safely infuse solutions which may not be administered through regular PVC sets.

The No. 1303 Burette Pump Set is available for those who must use a volume limiting set.

All MTP IV Pump Sets are available with needleless y-injection ports that will directly connect with any infusion device (syringes, gravity IV administration set, etc.) that has a standard LUER fitting at its output connection. These MTP IV Pump Sets have the letters NL after their catalog number, e.g. 1100NL, 1160NL, 1200NL, 1201NL.

ALL MTP IV Pump Sets are supplied with an add on optional use FREE FLOW RESTRICTION SAFETY VALVE. This valve will prevent accidental IV fluid free flow into a patient, if a pump operator forgets to close the IV pump set's clamp before removing the MTP IV pump set from the MTP Transport Infusion Pump.
